The problem

You're asking a genius to be a search bar.

You tried ChatGPT once. It wrote something that sounded like a robot, so you went back to doing it yourself. That's not you being bad at AI. It just didn't know anything about your business, so it guessed.

An assistant remembers your offers, your customers and your voice, so every answer starts from what you already know.

Before

A chatbot

  • Starts from zero every time
  • Generic, robotic answers
  • You re-explain your business daily
After today

Your assistant

  • Remembers your offers and FAQs
  • Writes in your voice
  • Asks smart questions first

The secret sauce

Don't ask AI to help. Tell it who to be.

AI has learned from a huge amount of writing, including the ideas in the most famous business books. When you name an expert, you're telling it which ideas to use. Same AI, completely different answer.

What most people type

"Reply to this bad review."

Gets: a polite, forgettable apology
What you'll type

"Act like Will Guidara, author of Unreasonable Hospitality. Reply to this review so the customer feels truly heard. Mention one detail they shared. Under 80 words, in my voice."

Gets: a reply that could win the customer back

The example

The prompt behind our clinic's assistant.

Good teachers show a finished example before asking you to try. This is a simplified version of the instructions I'd give an assistant for our chiropractic and wellness clinic. It's plain English: who we are, who we help, how we sound, who to think like, and what to never do.

"You don't need to be techy. You need to be clear about your business."Ashley Wisroth
Clinic assistant · instructions
You are the AI assistant for our chiropractic and wellness clinic in Casper, Wyoming. We help busy adults and families get out of pain and back to the life they love.

ABOUT US: $99 new patient visit with an exam and x-rays, personalized care plans, and wellness programs. Voted best chiropractor in town.

OUR CUSTOMER: Busy adults and their families. Their biggest problem: they've lived with pain so long they think it's normal.

HOW WE SOUND: Warm, confident, a little funny. Short sentences, plain words.

THINK LIKE: Will Guidara's Unreasonable Hospitality for every patient message, and Donald Miller's StoryBrand for marketing, where the patient is the hero and we're the guide.

NEVER: Diagnose, give medical advice or promise results. Never include patient names or health details.

COMMON QUESTIONS: [our answers about the first visit, what to wear and how long it takes]

YOUR JOB: Help our team write patient texts, emails, social posts, SOPs and staff training.

HOW TO WORK WITH ME: Ask up to 3 questions if you need more info. Give me a ready-to-use draft, then one idea to make it better.

Step one

Answer 9 questions. I'll write your prompt.

A sentence or two each. Your finished prompt builds itself as you type. Messy is fine, and your answers stay on this device.

AI 101Step two · about 4 minutesp. 06
Step two

Give your prompt a home.

A Project is a folder that remembers. Paste your prompt into its instructions once, and every chat inside it knows your business.

  1. Go to claude.ai and sign in. A free account works.
  2. Open Projects in the sidebar and create a new one. Name it after your business.
  3. Find the project's instructions, paste your prompt and save.
  4. Start a new chat inside the project. That's your assistant.

Free Claude accounts can create up to 5 projects. Paid plans allow more.

AI 101Step three · about 4 minutesp. 07
Step three

Feed it what you already have.

Upload a few of these to your project's files. The more of your real words it reads, the more it sounds like you. Start with three.

AI 101Step four · about 4 minutesp. 08
Step four

Take it for a test drive.

Start a new chat inside your project, run these three, then grade what you get.

6 power-ups that make any prompt better.

Add one of these lines to the end of any prompt. Stack two for even better results.

Expert panel

Get three great minds instead of one.

Answer this as a panel of 3 experts: [expert 1], [expert 2] and [expert 3]. Have each give their honest take, then agree on the best answer.

Failure first

Make it avoid the usual mistakes.

Before you write, list the 3 most common ways this goes wrong. Then write it so it avoids all 3.

Plan first

Stop it from guessing.

Before you answer, ask me any questions you need. Then show me your plan in 3 bullets and wait for my OK before you write.

Creative rules

Push past the obvious first idea.

Give me 10 options. No two can start the same way, and at least 3 should feel a little bold.

Copy the vibe

Show it what good looks like.

Here's an example I love: [paste it]. Match its structure and energy, but make it about [your topic] and in my voice.

Prompt doctor

Let AI fix your prompt.

Here's my prompt: [paste it]. Rate it from 1 to 10, tell me what's missing, then rewrite it the way an expert prompt writer would.

Fix it once. Fixed forever.

Your assistant learns from its instructions, not from one chat. Add the matching line to your project instructions and it won't happen again.
